Morning routine habits of rich people

Starting your day with a good morning routine is crucial if you want to be successful in life, Rich people such as Richard Branson and Jack Dorsey start their day by getting up early and doing a variety of things before starting work. Getting up early will give you time to start the day well by organising your day ahead, taking better care of yourself and being more productive. This post will open the doors to the habits of rich people that you must try and see the positive results for yourself.

The main key to start a productive morning is to get up early! Are you willing to wake up at 5.30 a.m? Many people’s answer will probably be “No” but if you want to be successful in life you need to start with a good morning routine! Check out the post "14 Secrets on how to become successful" This is what you do: First of all start your day by getting up at 5.30 a.m, wash your mouth and clean your tongue with a tongue scraper. That is important as during the night you build up bacteria especially on your tongue. Then drink a glass of water (possibly with a squeeze of lemon) as the body becomes dehydrated during the night. You’ll see how many benefits you will have by waking up at 5.30 a.m or even at 5 a.m as you will have so much more extra time to do everything you need to do. Continue your morning routine by doing some meditation to clear up your mind and start fresh. Then do some form of exercise such as yoga, running, Pilates or even just some press-ups, sit-ups, plunks and gentle stretching. Of course nothing too demanding on your body as in the morning our joints and muscles are still pretty stiff and we don’t want to push them too hard to avoid injuries. I would just like to point out that if you have never done meditation before just concentrating on your breathing will help you to start off. Then once you get more comfortable you can start to think about positive thoughts such as what you would like to achieve during the day or what you would like to become in life. Make sure though that you don’t use meditation as an excuse to go back to sleep!

After that a lovely shower or just washing your face and a quick refreshing up will make you feel clean and ready for the day. Bear in mind that if you have oily skin or if you’re prone to acne a gentle cleanser will be more suitable for you than washing your face in the morning. To continue shave, put your make up on, style your hair and get dressed will be your next task. One of the last things to do is to have a high fibre breakfast (I like adding something sweet too), some fruit and a warm drink, a freshly squeezed orange juice or a smoothie will give you the needed energy to start the day. To end your morning routine, writing down a daily plan is a great way to feel organised, to keep you motivated and to look forward to the results. Check out the post "How to be more productive: 10 simple perfect habits" I personally use a “to do list” note pad for my daily goals (personal and work) and for my monthly goals or business ideas I use Trello. It is a very creative and amazing tool to write your schedule, goals etc. but of course anything that works for you will be fine.

I would like to add that sometimes you can always use your morning before you got to work to learn new skills. Some of them could be learning a new language, doing a free online course to learn about marketing, time management strategies, graphic design, photography, cooking skills etc. You could also work on a second job like being a blogger, writer, photographer, marketing strategist and many other jobs which can be done as an extra. Of course that could also present you with an opportunity to change your present job with another job which you might have been dreaming to do instead. Expand your knowledge and never stop to be a student as this is very important if you want to be successful in your life. Reading a book. a magazine or a newspaper while having breakfast can also be an interesting way to start the day.
